ADI Teams Up with Commercial Integration to Honor AVI-SPL with Make A Difference Award

ADI Global Distribution, a leading wholesale distributor of security, AV and low-voltage products, teamed up with Commercial Integrator to honor AVI-SPL as the winner of the 2023 Make a Difference Award. For the third year, this award recognizes and celebrates an integration firm that has made a difference through philanthropic efforts to help those in need within the communities they serve.
Based in Tampa, Florida, AVI-SPL is a digital-enablement solutions provider. The organization designs, integrates, manages and supports onsite and cloud-based communications and collaboration technologies. Moreover, it serves organizations across the globe. “AVI-SPL Gives Back” is the company's giving back program and each year during the month of August, 4,300+ employees give back to nonprofits around the world.
Last year, the teams supported 37 nonprofits globally. In addition, Elevate, which is AVI-SPL’s Employee Resource Group focused on fostering gender equity in technology, selected Girls Who Code for an awareness and fundraising campaign that raised $1,500 plus a 100% company match.
AVI-SPL is a valued ADI customer and the team was proud to have an opportunity to recognize them for their outstanding commitment to communities worldwide.

In tandem with the Commercial Integrator’s Integration Awards, the Make a Difference Award is open to all industry integration firms. Firms were able to nominate themselves or others from outside their company through an online submission form on the Commercial Integrator website. Several nominations were received, and AVI-SPL was selected by the ADI AV leadership team based on a set of standard criteria for the award.
